Frustration effect and possibility of spin quantum liquid state in a tetrahedral spin ½ molecule

In this work, we studied the magnetic properties of a regularly tetrahedral molecule made of four spin-½, interconnected by exchange. For this purpose, we used the Heisenberg model and performed an exact resolution. In the case of a ferromagnetic coupling among the spins, the system orders itself under a magnetic field without displaying any net spontaneous magnetization. It behaves as a high spin-2 unique magnet.Under antiferromagnetic exchange, some exotic behaviour has been revealed due to the frustration governing the spin edifice. Thus, the magnetization is quantized into plateaus, which are separated by quantum phase transitions. In particular, we have argued the possibility of a quantum spin liquid (QSL) state that can occur at low temperature.This contribution intends mainly to bring single-molecular magnets to the front line of innovative nanoscale applications.

Lithium–Lanthanide Bimetallic Metal–Organic Frameworks towards Negative Electrode Materials for Lithium-Ion Batteries

Novel lithium–lanthanide (Ln: cerium and praseodymium) bimetallic coordination polymers with formulas C₁₀H₂LnLiO₈ (Ln: Ce (CeLipma) and Pr (PrLipma)) and C₁₀H₃CeO₈ (Cepma) were prepared through a simple hydrothermal method. The three compounds were characterized by means of FTIR spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, single-crystal X-ray diffraction, SEM, TEM, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The results of structural refinement show that they belong to triclinic symmetry and P space group with cerium (or praseodymium) and lithium cations, forming coordination bonds to oxygen atoms from different pyromellitic acid molecules, and leading to the construction of 3D structures. It is interesting to note that the frameworks exclude any coordination water and lattice water. As an electrode material for lithium-ion batteries, CeLipma exhibits a maximum capacity of 800.5 mAh g⁻¹ and a retention of 91.4 % after 50 cycles at a current density of 100 mA g⁻¹. The favorable electrochemical properties of the lanthanide coordination polymers show potential application prospects in the field of electrode materials.     

市场需求信息不对称下的保兑仓融资风险控制策略

信息不对称风险广泛存在于保兑仓融资过程当中,本文运用Stackelberg博弈模型刻画融资系统成员关系,运用动态规划优化分析方法求解对应博弈均衡策略。总结出需求信息不对称的三种表现形式:信息造假,信息优势及信息隐匿,分析各类信息不对称情形对融资系统所造成影响,并相应提出实现信息显示功能的契约甄别机制。研究表明:零售商可从信息不对称中获取巨大信息优势,但对其他成员造成损害,其中信息隐匿对生产商损害程度更高;二部定价机制可实现信息甄别,但生产商须为之付出信息租金,造成效率损失;而合理参数设定下的二部定价加回购机制有助于进一步改进融资系统及各成员收益,甚至达到次协调状态,最终实现融资成员收益的帕累托改进。本研究对于控制供应链融资中的信息风险、改善融资效率提供了理论依据及决策参考。     

Estimation of high-order moment-independent importance measures for Shapley value analysis

Moment-independent importance measures are increasingly used by practitioners to understand how output uncertainty may be shared between a set of stochastic inputs. Computing Borgonovo's sensitivity indices for a large group of inputs is still a challenging problem due to the curse of dimensionality and it is addressed in this article. An estimation scheme taking the most of recent developments in copula theory is developed. Furthermore, the concept of Shapley value is used to derive new sensitivity indices, which makes the interpretation of Borgonovo's indices much easier. The resulting importance measure offers a double advantage compared with other existing methods since it allows to quantify the impact exerted by one input variable on the whole output distribution after taking into account all possible dependencies and interactions with other variables. The validity of the proposed methodology is established on several analytical examples and the benefits in terms of computational efficiency are illustrated with real-life test cases such as the study of the water flow through a borehole. In addition, a detailed case study dealing with the atmospheric re-entry of a launcher first stage is completed.     

Interaction phenomena among lump,periodic and kink wave solutions to a (3 + 1)-dimensional Sharma-Tasso-Olver-like equation

In this article, we consider a (3 + 1)-dimensional Sharma–Tasso–Olver-like (STOL) model describing dynamical propagation of nonlinear dispersive waves in inhomogeneous media. Applying Hirota's bilinear technique and a trial function, we explore nonlinear dynamical properties of basic solutions to the STOL model. We find that the fission fusion pattern occurs in the collision between the lump and kink waves, the collision between the lump and periodic waves, and the collision among the lump, kink and periodic waves, which is a novel fascinating collision pattern. We also observe that a large value of the coefficient in the periodic function produces a hybrid lump wave by fission in the collision solution. To better understand the dynamic properties of the obtained collision solutions, we plot a number of 3D and contour diagrams by choosing suitable parametric values with the aid of the computational software Maple 18.
